Am I the only one who doesn't know how to learn easily?
Whatever you do when trying to learn new things.
Don't stress!
Why not?
Because if you want to learn something new, you'll need your right brain hemisphere.
If you're not relaxed when you try to learn something new, you'll lose the ability to reason and understand the information as a whole.
That means your left dogmatic and narcissistic hemsiphere might start to delete everything you're trying to learn.
You see, the left hemisphere is never wrong.
It never admits fault because it can't.
Have you ever heard about narcissists and how poorly they treat those they say they love, their friends, their coworkers?
That's because narcissism is an anti-social behavior, and humans are social by nature.
Stressing every day might make you lose you:
• Friends
• Partner
• Children
• Job
And remember, your left hemisphere runs on dopamine and focus while your right hemisphere is sedated.
I always thought I had to be focused and stressed to be motivated enough to learn
In my first year of high school in chemistry, I had a hard time understanding millimoles per lite mmol/L.
I studied for hours to understand it, but I couldn't understand.
At the time, I got up at 6 AM to be driven by my mother to the bus station across the municipality to get to my high school, an hour away.
Lack of sleep, shores, and studying made me stressed and nervous to fail.
Little did I know then that stress actually shuts off the right hemisphere, which is imperative when you need to learn something new.
I got the second to lowest grade in chemistry in my first year in high school.
Honestly, I told my teacher that I deserved the lowest grade because I thought I was too stupid to learn.
He said no and that I should just give it time.
But then came summer, with heat and sunshine and no 6 AM wake-up calls. Suddenly, I had time to read without stress.
So I gave it another shot, picked up the chemistry book, and started to re-read the teachings of millimoles per liter.
I didn't expect to understand it since I had put so much effort into understanding it before so my experience of my capacity was solid.
Or so I thought.
To my surprise, I understood the teachings of millimoles per liter in a matter of minutes.
Which is why I want to share this with you.
Don't ever stress if you want to understand or learn something
If I could go back in time during my high school years, I would focus on relaxing and meditation if I knew it existed.
You see, neuroscience now knows that it takes eight weeks of regular meditation to re-balance your brain hemispheres.
That means that any person with a narcissistic left dominant hemisphere can rebalance their brain through meditation.
What I'm trying to say is not to work harder but smarter.
By working smarter and making sure you can document your "Aha" moments and revelations when they pop into your relaxed right hemisphere.
You are living:
Smarter
Healthier
Stressed free
Open minded
Freely
I don't want you to burn out like I have done before in my life. I don't want you to feel stupid or stressed out. I want you to feel relaxed and be appreciated by your loved ones, friends, and coworkers.
I want you to get that promotion or success with a healthy mind and soul.
Life is not about slowly working yourself into a hospital bed with a narcissistic dominant brain.
It's about relaxing and living life open-minded and reflective.
Live your life to collect those "Aha" moments.
Intelligence is not about being correct. It's about getting along in a social group to stay alive.
Please remember that.
